Dave and Kathy had hosted a Wine tasting party at John”s Place on the evening of June 7th. They had invited Amy Bautista from “Wine Shop at Home” to walk them and 8 friends through the process o determining what kind of wines we would like and how to select the right wine.
There were 6 different wines for sampling and many cheeses, crackers, fruit, chocolates, and nuts used to enhance the flavor and experience. Many of the guests had found a favorite of the 6 wines sampled which was obvious when the party ended as very little wine was left.
After the tasting a dinner was served consisting or Barbeque Chicken, Pasta Salad, Cherry Coke Jello, and a Fresh Fruit Salad. For dessert there was Key Lime Pie which was also decorated as a “Birthday Cake” to celebrate Michaela’s 21st Birthday on June 3rd.
