We at John’s Place were honored to host the beautiful Friday evening wedding of Calob Saucedo and Kayla Herb. It took a week of hard work to make the transformation to the barn and surroundings. All the plans were set and the day was foretasted to be perfect. When listening to the Friday afternoon weather reports all was going to be dry and perfect for the 6:00 event. As the afternoon faded and evening approached hope was turning to concern as the drizzling rain continued. Alternate plans were being discussed and tears were being shed as the wedding start time got closer to that 6:00 start. Just as if on a God given command the misting stopped the out side chairs were being prepared and the outside wedding was back on track. The temperatures held at a comfortable place, the cloudy sky’s gave the perfect lighting and the wedding march began on time. Cabolb and Kayla looked stunning as they progressed through the ceremony. Interesting enough the weather held through the entire evening until just after the sparkler lit exit of the Bride and Groom. Additionally is should be noted that Sandra Herb has proven to be a gifted wedding planner and with her team of family and friends transformed the inside to the barn to a wedding delight.
