David and Kathy had hosted freinds and family for an Easter Egg Hunt on 4/19/14. 244 toy filled plastic eggs were gathered by 9 kids ages 13 to 3. What a lot of fun to see the kids running through the back yard looking for eggs and working to beat others to the egg they had just spotted.
Prizes were given to the person with the most eggs gathered in the 5 to 3 age group, the most eggs gathered in the 6 to 13 age group, and one lucky Mom and Dad won a “Parents Night Out prize” which was 2 Premier seating tickets to the July 5th Cedar Rapids Kernals baseball game with Fireworks after the game.
Afterwards we enjoyed a lunch of Brat Sliders, Baked Beans, Garden Salad, and Chips with dip. Dessert was a Brownie Bar some with raspberry jam and chocolate icing, and some were plain.
