Our big project At John’s Place for this year was getting bathrooms added to the front of the barn hoping to make it more desirable to potential clients. We started to dig the plumbing lines in early March. Due to continuous rain we had to re-dig out the trenches for the footers 3 times. Finally…
Family and Friends converged on John’s Place to wish Jan Plotz a very happy birthday. I am not allow to say how old she was but needless to say she looked very good for her age….
Nichole’s bridal shower was held at John’s place on July 13th. July is a hot month and needless to say the ladies enjoyed their time together despite the heat. What a great group of ladies.
Joe Jacobus celebrated his 40th birthday on 6/15/19 surrounded by his family and friends. Everyone had a great time and lots of fun.
Dane Novak was back again this year for his birthday on May 27th. The group had a lot of fun and we are still finding nurf ball ammunition around the outside of the facility.
We were luck enough to have family visit over the Memorial day weekend and spending time with family is one of the best testaments to love and relationships. We are always grateful for these visits and it seems we all have a great time with all the barn has to offer.
We had a group of local Fairfax Girl Scouts from a couple of different troops visit John’s Place on May 4th. The main event was the sail boat regatta and the other events were intended to allow the girts to rotate through the boat race. I can ho nestly say that all the girls had…
The Phillipson Family Reunion was held at John’s Place this year. Everyone who attended had a great time and plant to be back again next October for their next get together.
John’s Place was able to host our 1st Pumpkin Carving Event on Sunday 10/28. Lots of Kids carving, painting and putting stickers on their pumpkins. While looking at the pictures I am sure you will see that there are kids of ALL ages having fun. Let’s plan on this again for next year…..
Sunday October 27th was Christina Laubscher’s House “Cooling” Party. Christina (Stienie) had experienced a house fire earlier this year and her friends gathered to help her with re-stocking her rebuilt home with everything they could to make it a “Home” again.
