Kathy and David were excited to have their 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at John’s Place on April 4th. The weather started out a bit chilly but by the time the Bunny’s were finished hiding the eggs the warmth could be felt all around. We had about 25 kids and their families join us this year.
While waiting for the Bunny’s to finished their job the kids were able to color and do sticker pages in the upstairs loft. There was a lot of fun and great conversation as they colored and played.
Each “Hunter” was told to find and take only 1 “Glitter Egg” as they searched the yard for treasures. The Glitter Eggs had a number inside that matched a number on a prize in the upstairs loft. So every kid went away with a surprise.
Prizes were given for the Most eggs collected and the least eggs collected. We think parents were excited to see that no candy was hidden the eggs :).
Lunch was served for all and the families were also gifted with a prize from a drawing.
What a lot of fun and we hope you can join us next year for the 3rd Annual version of this event.
Special thanks to Brenda, Chris, Ethan and Hailey for their dedication and efforts to the cause.
